        Hermes Doctor House (HDH) is a day care medical and surgical center with a polyclinic concept. Besides Rheumatology several specialists from Gynaecology, Dental, Cancer, Plastic surgery, Psychiatry, etc., also practise in HDH. There is a well equipped operation theatre for minor surgeries & procedures. A well equipped physiotherapy unit also functions. Center for Rheumatic Diseases (CRD), Prashanti Cancer Care Foundation, Medinova Hermes Diagnostic Center, Pune Camp Orthopedic Centre, Hermes Health Club are other health care & medical facilities are situated along with HDH in a common premises.

        The Rheumatology referral practice in HDH is well attended by patients from all over Maharashtra, with large numbers from Baramati, Sholapur, Jalna, Jalgaon, Latur, Parbhani, Satara, Ahmednagar, Aurangabad, Kolhapur. Patients are also referred from Mumbai, Belgaum, Manmad, Nasik. Patients are seen between 8 am – 7 pm from Monday to Friday. Prior appointments are preferred and given priority. All others are seen on a first-come-first serve basis. Appointments are handled by chief receptionists (Tele.: 26344099). Initial consultation fee, depending upon individual case and consultation time. Follow up consultation fee ranges from Rs.150/= to Rs.300/=, depending upon frequency of visit. Specialized procedures / care carry additional cost.

        Dr. Arvind Chopra, MD, DNB, is the Chief Rheumatologist. Patients are also evaluated by Dr. Vaijayanti Lagu – Joshi, MD, Consulting Rheumatologist, Dr. Vinaya Kunjir, Rheumatology Pediatric Clinical Associate, Dr. Nachiket Kulkarni Consulting Rheumatologist and Dr. Anupama Sonees Rheumatology Associate. All routine and advanced rheumatology & immunology investigations are carried out in the state of art CRD: R & D lab at highly competitive & economic pricing. Unlike other laboratories, lab results are provided within 4 – 6 hours without additional cost. Facilities are also available for X-Ray & other imaging investigations.
