The final study under
NMITLI Arthritis project published by Chopra A,
Saluja M, Tillu G et al. entitled Ayurvedic
medicine offers a good alternative to glucosamine
and celecoxib in the treatment of symptomatic knee
osteoarthritis: a randomized, double-blind, controlled
equivalence drug trial was awarded Best Clinical
Research paper by ECIM (European Congress for Integrative
Medicine) for the year 2012 in the annual meeting
at Berlin in Oct 2013.The study was sponsored and
funded by NMITLI, Council of Scientific and Industrial
Research, Government of India. |

Center for Rheumatic
Diseases, Pune (CRD) joins METEOR INTERNATION DATABASE
(Measurement of Efficacy of Treatment in the Era
of Outcome for Rheumatoid Arthritis) as the
1st Country in the Asia-Pacific region. Dr Arvind
Chopra is nominated Country lead. Manjit
Saluja is the country co-ordinator and Deepak Songoji
